Look! Over there on the right. Four brand new albums and they are full of humans. Enjoy it. The plumber is coming back tomorrow! Muhahhahah!

Please Update Now

I just power browsed through approximately 1400 photos that I have taken in the last 10 months. I have come to the conclusion that I need to point that camera at humans a little more often.

Seriously, have you ever seen so much wire and pipe?

Well, the next four weekends at the camp are booked with social-type events where we have to mingle with actual live humans. Most are even family, which makes them slightly more important to photograph than normal humans, I think. I promise to try really hard, so stayed tuned.

Although we are supposed to get our bathtub next week, so I might have to make one exception.

I hope you OD

At work I keep my laptop propped up on a thing-a-ma-joo that makes it hard to see half my office. The other day, one of my esteemed colleagues kinda poked his head around the side of the screen and stared at me until I looked up.

Then he disappeared.

A few seconds later, his head slowly emerges from the other side of the laptop screen. As soon as I look his way again - POOF. He’s gone. Anticipating his next cunning move, I slide down really low into my chair to make the over-the-top peek more difficult on him. He manages anyway and as I see his head slowly grow from the top of my laptop screen, I completely loose it.

I was laughing so hard. That totally for real gut-type laugh where its completely involuntary and as soon as you realize that you have no will to stop it, you just laugh harder. And as I am gasping for air and wondering what is so funny, the perpetrator announces, “You know, I played this game with my infant nephew over the weekend, and I got the exact same reaction.”

This has got to be what they are referring to when they talk about “the best medicine.”

3rd Partner

Today, just went I thought soaring prices, dieting and coupon-clipping were going to suck all of the fun out of grocery shopping, I found a 12-pack of Diet Cranberry Raspberry Snapple in Publix. And while the $8.99 was not on my neatly budgeted shopping list, the case went quickly into my cart without hesitation. I had to buy it so Publix would know shoppers want Diet Cranberry Raspberry Snapple in a case (instead of individual bottles). Every vote counts. I know, I don’t even impulse-buy like a normal person, do I?

New Camera Lens

CountertopWhile, its true, I do have a new lens, that headline is merely an attempt to trick you into looking at more bathroom pictures. These are the last ones for awhile. Sean is done with his tiling and other magic tricks. We are waiting for the tub and sinks to make their grand entrance.

Surprise!

Shower ShelvesThis is the wall in the shower. This is where my shampoo will live. Maybe next to some Irish Spring Body Wash. Perhaps a bar of soap will stop by for a visit. La la la. Go on and click the pretty picture to see 2 more updates from Sean’s handiwork today.

Cement Bored

Published on Friday, June 13th, 2008

I have a few more pictures of the progress in the master bathrom, but they are basically some pictures of cement board and various grey substances applied to that cement board.  Boring.  I’ll save them.  Word on the streets (and by “streets” I mean our front door) is that Sean is coming back to do a little more work tomorrow.  As soon as I see a tile out of its box in the garage and sitting in its new home in MasterBathroomsville, I promise you some pictures.
